Deregulated energy and how it benefits you
Now, retail electricity providers (REPs) like Just Energy purchase electricity from utilities, then sell that electricity to consumers at competitive rates. When you receive a bill, you’ll see REP charges represented as supply charges. Those charges account for the amount of energy you use at the per kilowatt-hour rate agreed upon in your contract.
Electricity utilities are still involved in the process. Aside from generating electricity and selling it to REPs, they’re also responsible for maintaining power lines and handling power transmission. On your bill, you’ll see these charges represented as delivery charges.
Just Energy makes switching and billing easier
Switching electricity providers doesn’t have to be difficult. Once you switch to Just Energy, we’ll make sure paying your bill isn’t either. Read on to learn how we simplify switching. Just Energy offers more than just competitive rates
Green energy
JustGreen supports renewable energy initiatives around the world, making living sustainably easier for our customers. Add our JustGreen product to any electricity plan, and we’ll purchase renewable energy credits and add them to the grid on your behalf. Those credits could replace up to 100% of the energy you use each month.
Fixed Rate Plans
Simplify budgeting and worry less with a fixed-rate plan instead of spending each month wondering how much your electricity rate is going to increase. With a fixed-rate electricity plan from Just Energy, you’ll get one affordable rate at the beginning of your contract. You’ll keep that rate for your entire contract, even if market value for electricity increases.
Service when you need it
Electricity powers our homes and businesses, and we understand that living without it for any length of time isn’t an option. When you’re moving to a new office or home and call us and we’ll do everything we can to get you as soon as possible.
